Eligibility for Admission

Selection criteria
Merit list is prepared on the basis of 25% B.Pharm mark and 75% as valid GPAT score percentile. Graduates without GPAT score will be considered in case of non-availability of GPAT qualified candidates.

Opening of Drug Inspector posts (37) by Govt. of Punjab

Applications are invited for recruitment on regular basis to 37 posts of Drug Inspectors which are lying vacant in the institutions of Health Department Punjab. Number of posts may increase or decrease. The detail of posts in various categories and their pay scale is as per Annexure-A and B. No Person shall be appointed to the services by direct recruitment, unless he passes the following educational qualifications and experience:-

Educational and other Qualifications for Drug Inspector:
Should possess a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or institution.
Provided that only those inspectors:-
i) Who have not less than 18 months experience in the manufacture of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule “C” of the Drugs and cosmetic Rules 1945; or
ii) Who have not less than 18 months experience in the testing of at least one of the substances in Schedule “c” of the Drugs and cosmetic Rules 1945; in a laboratory approved for this purpose by the licensing authority; or
iii) Who have gained experience of not less than 3 years in the inspection of farms manufacturing any of the substances in Schedule “c” of the Drugs and Cosmetic Rules 1945 during the tenure of their services as Drugs inspectors; Shall be authorized to inspect the manufacture of the substances mentioned in Schedule “c” of the Drugs and cosmetic Rules 1945.
iv) Knowledge of Punjabi Language up to Matriculation Standard. Candidates who do not possess the qualification shall have to acquire this qualification within six months of their joining the service failing which their services shall be terminated.

AGE LIMIT:-
18 to 35 years on 1-1-2010.

NOTE:
i) The upper age limit for Punjab State, other States or Central Government Employees is relaxable up 45 years.
ii) The upper age limit prescribed above is relaxable up to a maximum of five years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab.
iii) The upper age limit for widows and certain other categories of women of Punjab is relaxable up to 40 years.
iv) An ex-serviceman of Punjab domicile shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of the Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such a vacancy in the service Rules concerned by more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit.

Other Terms and Conditions:
1. Candidates will be considered in the category in which they are applying on merit i.e. General Category & Reserve Category.
2. Reservation Policy will be applicable as per instructions of the State Government. Candidates who have applied against Scheduled Caste Category but if he/she comes in merit at par with General Category will be selected against the General Category seats.
3. Admission announcement of PGDHM and PGDPM by IIHMR

Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) announces admissions dates for Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHM)  and Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Management (PGDPM) in its Jaipur and New Delhi campuses.

Eligibility:
Candidates with minimum 50% in the degree exam from a recognized university with duration of three years. candidates appearing in their final year degree may also apply. The candidate must have taken any one of the Management Aptitude Test (minimum MAT composite score 550, MAT scores of September, December, 2009 and February and May, 2010 are acceptable). Mid career professionals, graduates (with a minimum of two year relevant work experience in the healthcare sector after graduation) are exempted from MAT. NIPER announces Ph.D admissions for session 2010-11

NIPER , S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) is inviting applications for admissions to Ph.D programme 2010.

How to apply:
Candidate shall fill the registration form online by registering on www.niper.gov.in as per “steps for online registration” given in this notification and on the website. The process of online registration shall commence on 29th April 2010 and will continue till 13th May 2010. 1.Information Brochure containing Application form can be obtained in person or by post from the office of the Organizing Chairperson, NIPER-JEE 2010 on submission of non refundable Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/-(Rs.500/- for SC/ST) payable at S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali)/Chandigarh in favour of “NIPER-JEE 2010” along with two duly typed self-addressed Slips with name (10 cms X 6 cms). Indian nationals residing abroad and foreign nationals have to remit US$100 by bank draft payable to “NIPER-JEE 2010”. Payment by cheque/postal order will not be accepted. Candidates desirous of obtaining information brochure by post should clearly mention the name of the programme in the application and on the top of the envelope carrying the request letter.
2.Completed applications on the prescribed OMR form should be sent to Organising Chairperson, NIPER-JEE 2010, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, (NIPER), Sector 67, S.A.S.Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, 160062, (through speed post/registered post) so as to reach him on or before 21st June 2010.
3.A common written test for all disciplines of the Masters programme will be held on Sunday, the 11th July, 2010 at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Baroda, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Trivandrum and Varanasi.

M.Pharm. 2010 admissions in KLE University

The University shall be conducting KLE University Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate All India Entrance Test – 2010 (KLE-AIET-2010) for admission to  B.Pharm, and M.Pharm.

(b) DESIRABLE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Doctorate Degree in Natural / Agricultural Sciences or Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine from a recognized University.
(c) EXPERIENCE: Experience of eight years in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions and /or Science and Technology organizations, out of which four years should be in Science and Technology programme, planning, development and coordination.

HOW TO APPLY : Applications should be neatly typed on thick plain paper (A-4 size 210 x 297 mm) in the prescribed format given below.


(a) A self-addressed post-card with requisite stamp should be sent along with the completed application. Candidates should indicate in this card the Advertisement number and name of the post applied for. The applications will be acknowledged by the Department by returning this card to the candidates after indicating the Registration number allotted to the candidate. Candidates may note that no separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them. Separate application forms should be filled and sent for different post.
(b) Candidates working in Government Departments / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous organisations should apply through proper channel. Their applications must be accompanied with photocopies of upto date ACRs for the last five years (duly attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent) and vigilance clearance.
(c) Copies of certificates in support of educational qualifications, date of birth, Disability, Community (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates only) and experience should be attached with the application. Candidates will have to produce the original certificates as and when required.
(d) Applications received after the closing date or received incomplete in any respect are liable to be summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.
