GATE-2010, Pharmacy turns to GPAT-2010

Hello and Marry Christmas to all M.Pharm. aspirants.....
Ultimately AICTE gave the final decision for the conduction of M.Pharm entrance test. The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda would conduct the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test(GPAT-2010) under the direction of National Monitoring Committee, AICTE, New Delhi (letter No. D.O. No. Acad/GPAT/2010 dated 02.12.09).
This GPAT-2010 exam would be conducted along with JMAT-2010 exam on 02.05.2010 at different centers ( to be notified) through out India.

    dear dedeepya,
    AICTE will provide stipend and it was 8000 INR per month + contigency amount in the last year. obviously all universities will accept GPAT score bcoz this test is directed by AICTE.

    i will post when i will get d complete and confrmd information regarding details.. most probably they will have same syllabus as was for GATE. full stipend(as for GATE candidates) will be provided bye AICTE not from any other governing body..

    Bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year are eligible for GPAT exam.

    this GPAT exam is just for pharmacy students means who r bachelor in pharmacy, you can try a lot of exams e.g. JAM by IIT'S and common entrance of biotech by JNU, DELHI.
